The Phoenix Suns have hired Ed Stefanski, father of Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski and longtime NBA executive, as a front office advisor, according to a Friday report by Marc Stein.
Stefanski will join former Suns legend Steve Nash as new additions to Phoenix’s senior advisory committee, as the team’s preseason gets underway from Palm Desert, California.
The pair of fresh faces for the Suns add to a growing list, as they will accompany general manager and coach, Brian Gregory and Jordan Ott, who are both in their first year.
Stefanski began his NBA track record in 1999 with the then-New Jersey Nets as director of scouting before making stops with the Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies and Detroit Pistons.
