ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say a victim managed to take the gun from a suspect who broke into his home on Wednesday.
The home invasion happened around 5:50 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue. The victim told officers he heard noises outside the home and went to investigate. RPD says the suspect then accosted the victim, ordering him to get inside.
Police say the suspect ran away after the victim took the gun while inside the home. The victim wasn’t injured. RPD is still investigating and no one is in custody yet.
