Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Winter Juniors qualifier Adrienne Schadler has sent her verbal commitment to Arizona State University for the recruiting class of 2027.

I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic journey at Arizona State University! A huge thank you to my family, Pat Wickering, Mojo Murrett, Paul Griffith, Johnny Young, and CW coaches for always supporting me and my goals. Thank you Coach Herbie and Coach Derek for this amazing opportunity! Go Sun Devils

Schadler primarily swims the freestyle events, competing in the 100, 200, 500, and 1650 freestyles at the 2024 Winter Junior Championships, but she also occasionally swims fly and IM events.

She swims for Ann Arbor Skyline High School where last November she was the Division 2 State Champion in the 200 and 500 freestyle events, touching in 1;48.79 in the 200 and 4:54.41 in the 500.

In March, she swam at the Michigan Ultra Championships for Club Wolverine. There she set new personal best times in the 50 free (23.73), 100 free (50.28) and 500 free (4:53.36). She also swam the 50 fly (26.85) 1000 free (10:15.33) and 400 IM (4:23.30).

Over the summer, she competed at the USA Swimming Futures Championships in Ocala, where she finished 24th in the 50 free (27.06), 54th in the 100 free (59.97), 15th in the 200 free (2:06.46), 9th in the 400 free (4:21.40),

ASU just finished their first season in the Big 12, where the women’s team won their first ever conference title scoring 1695 points to Arizona’s 1240.

Schadler will be coming in as a conference scorer in five different individual events, most of which would put her in ‘B’ final scoring position. Her biggest challenge will be within the ASU team itself, as she sits just outside the top four in all of her events.

She was only a sophomore last year, and has been making steady improvements every year, dropping 12 seconds in the 400 IM, and more than a second in the 200, 500, and 1650 freestyles.

She joins Hannah Carpenter in the Sun Devils Class of 2031.
