Irvine just got a swank upgrade.
Mastro’s Ocean Club has officially debuted its sleek new location at the Irvine Spectrum, kicking things off with a private party on Thursday, Sept. 25. This new spot is the second for Orange County, following its first successful opening in Newport Beach (which has been a point of reference during this season’s “The Real Housewives of Orange County”) back in 2005.

Subscribe here.This isn’t a small affair: the new restaurant boasts a 10,404-square-foot setting with seating for up to 342 guests. The layout features two outdoor patios, private event spaces, a spacious main dining room with a dedicated bar.
Natrually, there are steaks galore — including USDA prime steaks, certified Kobe and Wagyu — and, as its name promises, seafood aplenty. Expect favorites like Chilean sea bass, branzino, salmon, two-foot tall seafood towers, caviar-topped oysters, shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, a selection of sushi, lobster bisque and their famous lobster mashed potatoes. Dessert options include classics like butter cake, chocolate cake and key lime pie.
