Let’s have a little fun with this one. The Buffalo Bills are BIG favorites as the Saints are without a doubt one of, if not the worst team in the NFL. Last week, they lost to Seattle, 44-13.
The Bills are arguably the best team New Orleans will go up against so far this season, and maybe all season for that matter. It’s one of those games where if Buffalo gets up early, it could turn into a blowout.
One of the reasons the Saints have been so bad? Red zone defense. New Orleans gives up touchdowns 80% of the time when teams reach their 20-yard line. That’s bad news for a team that features Josh Allen, James Cook, and… Reggie Gilliam?
Yeah, why not! Gilliam, a fullback, might be someone to look out for to score a random touchdown. We’re fully expecting Buffalo to score a lot of points and maybe try some interesting plays, so it seems like it could be one of those games where Gilliam gets a goal line touch.
When it comes down to it, I don’t know Sean McDermott’s game plan or Joe Brady’s mindset going into this one. But if I were them, I’d let Gilliam go for six at least once! And not just to make me sound correct here.
