Jordyn Glassley from Fort Wayne, Indiana has announced her commitment to continue her academic and athletic careers at Georgia beginning in fall 2027. Glassley is a “Best of the Rest” ranked recruit for the girls high school class of 2027.
“I’m extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my swimming and academic career at the University of Georgia! I want to thank my parents, coaches, and friends for supporting me and a huge thank you to Coaches Stephanie, Fernado, and Jerry for this amazing opportunity! GO DAWGS!!”
Glassley swims for Fort Wayne Swim Team and most recently competed at Summer Juniors in August. There she posted numerous best times including a 31.08 50 back, 1:03.68 100 fly, and 5:06.09 400 IM. Her highest finish was 71st in the 200 free (2:07.67).
She began her junior year at Carroll High School this fall and swam to a state title this past February in the 200 IM. She posted a lifetime best 2:00.42 in her win. She also was 4th in the 100 fly in a 54.57. Fort Wayne Carroll finished 2nd overall at the Indiana High School Girls State Championship finishing only behind Carmel.
Glassley’s Best SCY Times Are:
100 fly: 53.12 200 fly: 2:02.42 200 IM: 2:00.42 400 IM: 4:20.34 200 free: 1:49.04 100 free: 50.64The Georgia women finished 4th out of 13 teams at the 2025 SEC Championships. They went on to finish 16th at the 2025 NCAA Championships. The team looks to improve at NCAAs this past season after welcoming the #8 ranked girls recruiting class this fall.
Based on her best times, Glassley is not far off what it took to final in the 100 fly at 2025 SECs, and she still has two years before her arrival. It took a 52.92 to make it back in the 100 fly and a 1:59.04 in the 200 IM. Georgia did not score any points in the 100 fly this past season at ACCs, one of only three swimming events they had zero points in.
Glassley will arrive in fall 2027 as a member of the class of 2031 along with Vivienne Sangaro from New York. Zangaro is also a “Best of the Rest” ranked recruit.
