This year, not only will the event celebrate the Genesee River and the initiatives to transform the waterfront, it will also celebrate the Erie Canal’s 200th anniversary.
The festival brings tons of events to the city’s waterfront, including scenic cruises, historical presentations, guided tours, and more.
It begins on Friday, with the first event scheduled for 12 p.m., and will go until Sunday, with the last event Sunday scheduled to go until 4 p.m.
