Final Food Truck Rodeo of the season
The Rochester Public Market is holding its last Food Truck Rodeo of the season on Wednesday. All kinds of food trucks will be at the market from 5 to 9 p.m.
There will also be music from the band “Steve Grills and the Roadmasters”. Food Truck Rodeo takes place on the last Wednesday of each month from April through September.
Final ROC the Block job fair of the season
The season’s final ROC the Block job fair is taking place on Wednesday at Parcel 5 in downtown Rochester. It runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The job fair series is in the style of a community block party and kicked off in June. Some employers at the fair will include the University of Rochester, Walmart, Rochester City School District, CDS Monarch, City of Rochester, County of Monroe, ITEC Training & Education Center, HCR Homecare, FedEx, Bausch & Lomb, Access VR, and Wegmans.

The George Eastman Museum’s film series for Hispanic Heritage Month continues on Wednesday night with a free screening of “In Caliente” at the Dryden Theatre.
The screening of the 1935 film by Lloyd Bacon begins at 7:30 p.m. You can learn more about the film and the five-part series here. The Latin Film Series began earlier this month, highlighting the work of Latin filmmakers spanning nearly 70 years of cinema. Here’s the rest of the schedule:
