The Big Brother 18 winner and her husband Victor Arroyo, whom she met on the show, announced the news to People on Sunday, Sept. 14.
"I joked there must be two babies in there, and when there really was, I was happy-shocked," she continued. "I've always wanted to have twins, and they run in my family!"
Franzel and Arroyo met in 2016 while filming Big Brother 18 and married in 2021. They're parents to 4-year-old son Arrow and have documented their infertility journey online while trying to conceive their second child.
Franzel and Arroyo said their son is taking the news well, and that he even predicted they were having twins before the couple knew themselves.
The family has not found out the gender of the twins yet, but like her son, Franzel also predicts the twins will be a boy and a girl.
In addition to winning Big Brother 18, Franzel has appeared on Big Brother 16, Big Brother 22 (All-Stars) and won the holiday spin-off series Reindeer Games. Arroyo's only Big Brother appearance was on season 18, where he won America's Favorite Player, but he later starred in one season of The Challenge. The couple appeared together on season 31 of The Amazing Race, placing fourth.
