For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Mylie Bradley of Jenks, Oklahoma, has committed to swim and study at the University of Nebraska, beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. She trains year-round with the Jenks Trogan Swim Club and attends Jenks High School.

Bradley confirmed the commitment in an email to SwimSwam, and provided the following quote:

I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to the university of Nebraska! I would like to thank Coach Pablo and Coach Pat for giving me this opportunity to swim at the next level and my parents and coaches who have supported me throughout my swimming!! GO BIG RED!!

The future Cornhusker’s biggest meet of this past high school season was the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association 6A State Championships, held in late February. She was pivotal on the relays for Jenks High School, leading off the 200 medley relay in 26.73 and anchoring the 400 free relay with a 52.83 split, helping secure state titles in both events.

Individually, she earned silver in the 100 breast with a time of 1:05.32 and took bronze in the 200 IM, clocking 2:06.88.

Bradley closed out her short course season at Speedo Sectionals – Columbia in mid-March. Her top placement came in the 100 back, where she posted a personal-best 55.04. She added lifetime bests in the 200 breast with a 2:18.93 for 11th, the 100 breast in 1:04.37 for 17th, and the 200 free in 1:53.27 for 19th. Her only swim that didn’t mark a career best was the 50 free, where she touchex 27th in 24.01.

Beyond her focus on backstroke and breaststroke in 2025, she also holds best times of 23.68 in the 50 free and 51.58 in the 100 free, both from December 2024.

Top SCY Times:

50 Freestyle: 23.68 100 Freestyle: 51.58 200 Freestyle: 1:53.27 100 Backstroke: 55.04 100 Breaststroke: 1:04.37

Nebraska is led by head coach Pablo Morales, who is entering his 25th season at the helm. The women’s team finished 10th out of 14 teams at the 2025 Big Ten Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.

Based on Bradley’s best times, she would have placed 36th in the 100 breast, 40th in the 100 back, 49th in the 100 free, 55th in the 50 free, and 58th in the 200 free at the 2025 conference meet. It took times of 22.55 in the 50 free, 49.60 in the 100 free, 53.97 in the 100 back, 1:01.68 in the 100 breast, and 1:47.11 in the 200 free to qualify for the ‘C’ final and score points. Her best opportunity to score looks to be the 100 back, where she sits about a second off what typically makes the top 24.

Within the team, Bradley would have ranked second in the 100 back, fifth in the 50 free, seventh in both the 100 free and 100 breast, and ninth in the 200 free last season. Freshman Virginia Consiglio led the Cornhuskers in 2024–25 with her 54.09 in the 100 back, recorded during the Nebraska vs. Illinois dual meet.

Bradley joins Meredith Peyton, Dominika Borkowska, and Georgia Holgate in the Cornhuskers’ class of 2030.
