ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We enjoyed a quiet, dry and sunny week of weather, and that will continue right into the weekend, for the most part. We will see an increase in clouds on Saturday as a weak boundary sets up overhead. But, there shouldn’t be enough available moisture for those clouds to produce much, if anything, in the way of rain. The same goes for Sunday. So, the weekend will be mostly dry, with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s on Saturday, and mid 70s on Sunday. Saturday will tend to see more clouds around, with more blue during the afternoon. Sunday should see a partly cloudy to mostly sunny sky.
While we certainly need the rain, it just isn’t in the cards for us next week, either. High pressure sits overhead, keeping us dry through the majority of the week. Meanwhile, temperatures will slowly climb back into the 80s by the middle of next week. We’ll see a mostly sunny sky almost each day. There are some indications that we may see a cold front sneak in by Friday of next week, bringing the slight chance of a shower or thunder, followed by slightly cooler air into next weekend. Overall, our pattern remains extraordinarily quiet, and very dry.
