ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Nature is all about balance. That’s certainly the case right now, as we have been treated to largely beautiful and dry weather this past week… Unfortunately, the lack of rain means the moderate drought has expanded. New York has droughts every two or three years on average, so this isn’t out of the ordinary, but some rain would certainly be helpful to all the farms, lawns and gardens out there. We did have a chance for some rain this weekend, but that chance has dwindled down to a light sprinkle Sunday morning at most, and again there is very little rain in the rest of our 10-Day forecast.
Today will be another beautiful day with temps getting up to the mid 70s and a few more clouds than yesterday, with low dew points and calm winds. Tonight will be a little less cool with lows in the mid 50s.
This weekend will be similarly mild but with more clouds Saturday, and light sprinkles Sunday morning, later clearing for a beautiful afternoon. Perfect weather for a Bills block party!
Then, great news for summer lovers: A warming trend will slowly tick our temperatures back up to the 80s for several days going into late next week! Looks like that faux-fall we had is officially over. Hold the pumpkin spice lattes for now…
