ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We’ve been in a dry period for quite some time now and will continue to see dry conditions overall through the next week or so. We do have some chances for rain Saturday night through Monday, but it won’t be a washout by any means.
Today will be a repeat of yesterday, with a chilly morning becoming a very comfortable day alongside mainly clear skies. Winds will be light. Tonight, again mainly clear and cool.
A weak cold front will decrease our high temperatures slightly tomorrow, then Saturday starts out nice but gets cloudier as the day goes on, with showers possible overnight through Sunday. Model trends have been decreasing in terms of rainfall totals, so expect more on and off showers as opposed to widespread consistent rain. It’s a shame, as we are still in a moderate drought and could really use a dousing.
Warmer than normal and drier than normal weather resumes for the majority of next week. Rainfall amounts look to be creeping back towards normal status the week after, but we have a lot to make up for.
