After a not-so-perfect Week 1 for the SEC, the SEC is “back y’all,” according to the newest SEC Shorts episode.

This week’s episode starts off with them addressing that Week 1 was “terrible” for the SEC, as they lost out-of-conference games to Ohio State and Florida State. One of the teams to make a comment during this time was Alabama, which claimed that they are “back” after beating LA-Monroe 73-0.

The episode hilariously flashes to a clip of the commissioner paying off LA-Monroe to secure an Alabama win and shutout.

The episode goes on to say that Week 2 was a massive success for the SEC — aside from Florida‘s embarrassing home loss to South Florida. During this time, the episode shows Florida in a neck brace and an arm sling after their rough loss to USF at home.

The episode continues as they decide to highlight some of the teams that won in Week 2 for the SEC. Another notable part of this week’s episode happens right after Florida makes a joke about disappearing like their fourth-quarter offense. The cameras cut to Georgia and North Carolina as Georgia says, “At least there’s someone out there having a worse 2025 than you.”

In a poke at Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson, UNC is then grabbed by their girl, who hilariously says, “We’re not talking about this.”
