ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say they recovered two guns after following a motorized scooter rider on Monday morning who refused to stop.
Officers tried to pull over the scooter just before 2 a.m. around Bay and Cumming streets, saying the 37-year-old rider violated traffic laws and had what appeared to be a gun on him. Police followed the man to a home on Clifford Avenue and took him into custody.
Investigators say they found a pistol and a handgun inside the home. The rider and another man, 40, found inside the home are both charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
