GENEVA, N.Y. — A woman faces arson charges after an investigation into a vehicle fire on Carter Street in Geneva — during which it was found that a number of cars on that street had been rummaged through.
Victoria S. Gordon of Rochester was charged Sunday with fourth-degree arson. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said while deputies were looking into the vehicle fire, they found that multiple cars along Carter Road had open doors and had been rummaged through, with items stolen from several vehicles. Deputies searched the area of Carter and Gambee roads, and found Gordon fleeing from a parked car where she had been inside.
Gordon was arraigned and released to be turned over to another jurisdiction on an active warrant.
