American Legion “Lewis White Post 76” Ukiah recently installed their officers for the 2025 through 2026 membership year. meets regularly on the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Ukiah Veterans Memorial Hall on Seminary Avenue.
In addition to good fellowship, the Post continues to advocate for and support reasonable veterans services; help sponsor youth good citizen programs such as Scouting America; and Boys and Girls State; maintain a Veterans Service Fund to help local veterans who have temporary emergency or crisis needs; participate in local Patriotic Celebrations; and provide an Educational Scholarship to a local student continuing their education beyond high school.
The organization is open to all veterans who have served or are serving honorably in any branch of the military. Guests are welcome at our meetings. Because of Labor Day holiday, our September meeting will be on the second Monday, Sept. 8. It will feature a presentation by the “Veterans Representative” of our local Employment Development Department.
