Joining her twin sister, BOTR recruit Jaylee Hager will be attending Notre Dame University for the fall of 2026.
I am blessed to announce my verbal commitment to further my academic and athletic career at the University of Notre Dame! First, I would like to thank God for His guidance and grace throughout my life. Second, I want to thank my coaches, friends, and teammates for their constant encouragement and prayers. A special thank you to my family and my twin sister; I couldn’t have come this far without you all! Finally, thank you to the entire coaching staff at Notre Dame for giving me this incredible opportunity. I cannot wait to be a part of the Fighting Irish family! Go IRISH!! Acts 20:24
Hager swims for Streamline Aquatics in San Antonio, where she was a member of the mixed 4×100 freestyle NAG Record setting relay in April of this year. At the Speedo Junior National Championships in July, she earned finals swims in the 200 freestyle (32nd – 2:07.32) and 50 back (16th – 30.18). In June, we ranked her as one of our “Best of the Rest” recruits for the class of 2026 for her sprint freestyle and backstroke times
She attends Great Hearts Monte Vista High School, where she was the state champion in the 200 free (1:50.30), and the 100 free (50.85). She was also a member of the 200 freestyle relay (22.96), and 200 medley relay (backstroke- 26.12) that won state titles as well.

Hager is a strong addition to the team, and she would have been on the 800 freestyle relay last season with her time of 1:47.59 coming in at 2nd on the team last year. In the 200 back, she would have been 3rd, and she would have been 7th in both the 50 free and 200 IM for her 3rd event.
She joins a large recruiting class that includes her twin sister Averie Hager along with Ellie Bina, Caroline Mulrooney, Camryn Tilger, Renee Nealon, and Catie Brenneman.
