Kyle Freeland’s single-game ERA from his latest start will not compute.
After facing two batters, surrendering two runs and recording zero outs, Freeland was ejected Tuesday for confronting Giants slugger Rafael Devers during his home-run trot.
Devers slowly walked to first base while admiring his towering fly off Freeland. When it landed in the right-field seats at Coors Field, he flipped his bat, a fairly customary home run celebration in modern Major League Baseball.
