Tonioli, 69, has been part of Britain's Got Talent since 2023 when he replaced David Walliams for the show's 16th series. He will be replaced by KSI on the upcoming 19th series which will begin filming auditions soon and will air in 2026.
"And whilst I look forward to filming a new series of Dancing with the Stars in the US, I will miss the chaos and joy that BGT brings, as well as all the wonderful people I’ve had the privilege of working with. They truly are a brilliant team who make brilliant television, and I know KSI will be a fantastic judge too, as he’s already proven this year," he added.
In 2022, Goodman left Dancing With the Stars to spend more time with his family. In April 2023, he died of cancer.
Goodman was replaced by Derek Hough on DWTS, rounding out the judges table.
