Mr. Cobie Sadler, age 81 of Lebanon, died Saturday morning, August 30 at his home. He is survived by: wife, Shirley Sadler; daughter, Sonya Whited and husband Jeff of Lebanon; 2 sons, David Butterworth and wife Denise of Carthage, Dale Sadler and wife Malita of Cotton Town; sister, Glenda Taylor of Ocala, FL; 6 grandchildren, Mason Sadler, Campbell Sadler, Tommy Whited, Krista Petraitis, Kayla Minchey, Katie Hutchins; 9 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Sadler is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, September 2 at 1:00 PM. John Mabery and Dale Sadler will officiate. Interment in the Wilson County Memorial Park. Serving as active pallbearers are: Brian Petraitis, Tommy Whited, Mason Sadler, Joe Reeves, Chris Klamm, John Taylor; Honorary pallbearers, Gentiva Hospice, Wayne Miller, Edward Anderson, Hardison Moles, Barry Cook, Dean Lee, Seward Ellis, R. W. Vincent, Dr. Mark Peacock, Dr. Hardie Sorrells IV.
Visitation at the Carthage Chapel will begin on Monday afternoon from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM and on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
The family has requested memorials to Jackson Smith Youth Camp or St. Jude Childrens Hospital
