No. 8 Alabama’s stunning 31-17 loss to Florida State on Saturday rocked the college football world. The Crimson Tide had won their last 23 season-openers and were multi-touchdown favorites facing an FSU team that won only 2 games last season.

Because the only one that I think you can make a case for was Ohio State. Could maybe make a case for Utah, but how good is UCLA? I don’t know. But still, for the most part, man, that was a really impressive performance from Florida State.”
While the FSU fanbase has a strained relationship with the media, especially ESPN, some FSU fans will likely appreciate that McElroy is calling for the Seminoles to get more credit in the postgame coverage of the big upset.
