ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Temperatures across WNY got down to the 40s overnight, and alongside nice clear skies and a slight breeze it made things feel like a crisp fall morning… But as high pressure moves in, we’ll warm up to a nice 70 degrees give or take a degree. Plenty of sunshine as well, with a slight nuisance wind out of the northwest at 10-15 MPH. Overall a great day for all things outdoors, or for just staying in to watch some college football. One thing to note is boating conditions on Lake Ontario won’t be great today.
A little less cold tonight with lows around 50, then tomorrow we keep the sunshine, lose the wind, and up the temperature to a perfect 75 degrees. Get out and enjoy it!
Labor Day is looking fabulous as temperatures climb up a little more to the upper 70s. Again plenty of sunshine and calm winds. Dew points will stay low for the entirety of the long weekend, making for very comfortable air no matter the temperature.
Temperatures climb above normal by midweek, but a cold front Thursday evening will bring rain, perhaps some thunder, and then afterwards cooler temperatures yet again. Expect next weekend to be sunny and in the 60s.
