Bhubaneswar: Serious allegations have surfaced against Kabisuryanagar MLA Pratap Chandra Nayak from Odisha’s Ganjam district.
The MLA is accused of illegally constructing a five-story building under the name “Lucky Enterprises” in Verna village under Salcete taluka near Margao, Goa.
As per reports, Nayak has allegedly housed 400 workers in this building and facilitated their employment with various companies, earning commissions in the process.
Following a complaint lodged by an individual from Kodala, Ganjam, the South Goa District Administration has issued a notice through the Additional District Magistrate of Salcete, against the MLA.
The Goa Administration has decided to inspect the site and ascertain the fact if any illegal construction is found and initiate action under relevant provisions of law, reports added.
