AFTER previously admitting to have never lived with fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Perrie Edwards could finally be moving in with her other half.
Footballer Alex, 32, has been living in Turkey since 2023 and playing for Turkish club Besiktas but after a mutual termination of his contract, he can now return to the UK and be with his family.
Perrie Edwards could be set to live with fiance Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Alex’s contract with his Turkish football club is overGETTYNo doubt this will fill singer Perrie, who signed a huge six-figure deal, with glee as she previously revealed: “We’ve never lived together anyway”.
A source told The Sun: “Perrie and Alex are really excited about the prospect of finally living together after eight years.
“She’s never made a secret of the struggles that came with a long-distance relationship but with Alex now being eyed by the likes of Birmingham City and Leeds, it looks like they’ll finally be a proper family – something they’ve always wanted.”
This comes after the Little Mix star admitted she’s never lived with her husband-to-be, despite being together for nine years.
During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show last year, she expressed: “I can’t lie, it is hard.
“When he was playing for Liverpool and based in Manchester, it was so easy to do the back and forth but Turkey is a little bit further and he doesn’t get a lot of time off.
“I’m trying to launch a solo career whilst having a two-year-old so it is a lot to juggle but we make it work for the ones we love don’t we?”
She continued: “We’ve never lived together anyway. The whole eight years we’ve been in a relationship we’ve never actually lived together.”
Perrie and Alex confirmed they were in a relationship in 2017 and they welcomed Axel into the world four years later.
The couple got engaged in 2022 but are yet to tie the knot.
The X Factor winner, who said her ex Zayn Malik contacted her, recently revealed she had two miscarriages in a brand new interview on Paul C Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast.
She suffered her first loss in 2022 as Little Mix were preparing to go on a break.
Perrie recalled: “I was rehearsing for the last Little Mix tour, and I thought, ‘I don’t feel good’. Every symptom under the sun. I was like, ‘I think I’m pregnant’.”
But as her pregnancy progressed past the five-month mark, Perrie began to suspect that medics had spotted something wrong with her unborn baby.
She said: “We went for what was a 20-week scan, but we were actually 22 weeks, and that was just the worst day of my life. Like, horrendous.
“I just knew something was wrong in the scan. I’ve never experienced an out-of-body experience where everything goes in slow motion.”
Two weeks later, Perrie and Alex were given the heartbreaking news that there was no heartbeat. She said: “So then I remember sobbing. Alex was injured at the time and couldn’t really drive.
“He was struggling to drive, but I couldn’t see straight. I was just distraught. We basically lost the baby at, like, 24 weeks.”
She also revealed she had a miscarriage with her first ever pregnancy, prior to Axel being born.
“I remember finding out I was pregnant. Obviously, I started bleeding not long after, and I went to hospital and I had the scan and they were like, ‘There’s no baby.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, I’ve made this up’.
