“Now the time has come for us to make significant investments, so that we can increase energy capacity, long-term reliability, and a stronger grid that will be more resilient in extreme weather,” said Michael Baggerman.

NYSEG planned to finish adding a new power transformer by next year, with two more planned to start construction in 2027.
