Jersey Shore’s Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is officially a mom after welcoming a baby boy with Justin May.
“Welcome to the world my rainbow miracle baby ,” Sammi, 38, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, August 26. “Vincent Keith May. August 20, 2025.”
Baby Vincent arrived at 8:18 p.m., measuring 20 inches and weighing 8 pounds and 4 ounces.
Ever since her son’s arrival, Sammi said she can’t stop “crying happy tears.”

During this season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation — currently airing Thursdays on MTV — Sammi has been open about her journey to parenthood as she tried in vitro fertilization (IVF).

“This has been a very long process, it’s been a lot of shots, it’s been a lot of hormones,” she said during a confessional interview. “Just the thought of even being pregnant was such a magical moment for me, and just to have that taken away — it’s devastating.”
In February, however, both Sammi and Justin announced via Instagram that they were expecting and couldn’t wait to meet their baby. (In May, they announced the sex of their baby in front of the Jersey Shore cast.)
Through all of the ups and downs, Sammi had the support of her costars and Justin, who proposed in April 2024.

“He’s so positive and uplifting,” she said. “He’s so special to me, and I just am so thankful for him. He’s been by my side through this whole thing. I just love him.”
Before giving birth to baby Vincent, Sammi also celebrated a milestone in her professional career when she celebrated the grand opening of her boutique, Sweetheart Coast, at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City.
“Couldn’t be more proud to watch all the hard work and dedication she put into opening this store and all while being pregnant,” Justin wrote via Instagram on July 17. “She is truly inspiring and I couldn’t be more happy for her.”
