Undrafted Georgia outside linebacker Chaz Chambliss is expected to be on the Minnesota Vikings’ 53-man roster, according to CBS Sports.

The 22-year-old rookie was a starter for 2 seasons at Georgia and led the Bulldogs in sacks last season (6.5). In 2024, Chambliss was selected as a Third-team All-SEC member.

During a Week 10 victory last season vs. Florida, Chambliss recorded 6 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks en route to being the Co-SEC Defensive Player of the Week.

For his college career, Chambliss amassed 86 total tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 9 sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery.

The 6-foot-2 Chambliss uses outside the box ways to prepare, including MMA training. While at Georgia, Chambliss said MMA training aided him with hand fighting. Chambliss was also a member of Georgia’s back-to-back national championship squads in 2021 and 2022.

The Georgia native was a 4-star recruit coming out of high school. Chambliss committed to the Bulldogs while also holding offers from Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Clemson, Florida State, Notre Dame, and Ohio State.

Chambliss inked a deal with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent on April 26, 2025 and now it appears he’ll have the security of making it to the regular season.
