In an Instagram video, Twain teared up as she talked about her latest project and giving back to kids who grew up like she did. The Shania Twain Foundation is teaming up with Second Harvest to donate $25,000 to different cities in Canada to help feed hungry kids.

This year, the Shania Twain Foundation joined forces with @secondharvestca to help get good food to people in need and that means doing things like: Rescuing 30,000 lbs of potatoes and redistributing them to the @mjfoodbank in Moose Jaw ? Coordinating a food rescue at the Calgary Stampede, which provided @community_kitchen_ with almost 11,000 lbs of food ? Supporting rescue and redistribution efforts in Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec City ? By working together, we’re not just raising awareness — we’re driving real action against food waste and hunger across Canada. ??,” read the caption on her Instagram share.
