The proud mother and bonus mom, 37, recently got into the party planning spirit in celebration of Kendyl, who turned 18 years old on Wednesday (Aug. 20). In a new post on Instagram, Brittany gave followers a close-up look into all of the details that went into making sure the b-day bash went off without a hitch. From party decorations to fun games and prizes to the delicious cake, it looks like the special day couldn’t have gone any smoother.

“Now, one thing about Kendyl is that she loves simplicity. She doesn’t want anything crazy or over the top, which is very hard for me. So I was trying to make her feel special, while not going too crazy, but 18 is big, right? So I’ll show you a little bit of the party decor.”
In the clip, folks get a look into the gift and card table as presents galore are nicely propped up for all to see. A giant balloon arch is also on display with other highlights in various sections of the house that include party hats, stamped-on messages written by Kendyl’s siblings, snacks, and a picture of the birthday girl spread across the birthday cake. Kendyl, who can also be seen in the video, poses alongside friends and family while wearing a summery baby doll dress and knee-high yellow boots before blowing out the birthday candles as her dad watches with a proud smile spread across his face.

The birthday celebration post comes four days after Aldean, 48, took to his Instagram page, honoring his second-eldest daughter with a photo montage in his stories. While those pictures only appeared online for 24 hours, the images featured Kendyl through the years posing with various members of her family, as previously reported by Parade.
