Chicago police were searching for multiple suspects in a shooting outside a convenience store that left two people injured, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at approximately 10:55 p.m. Friday along North Kedzie near West Franklin Boulevard in the Garfield Park neighborhood, police stated. Officers responded to the scene and found two victims who had been shot, including a 48-year-old man.
He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was listed in fair condition, authorities said. The second victim, a 45-year-old man, was shot in the back and arm and reported to be in serious condition.
Police said the victims were shot after an argument between two male suspects who both opened fire. No one was in custody on Saturday morning.
