The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) says stretches of 490 East over Platt Street will be closed for bridge maintenance overnight. It starts Friday, August 23 and ends Saturday, August 23.

Between Exit 12 and Exit 13, the right lane will close from 9 p.m. Friday to 12 a.m. Saturday.

Between Exit 11 and Exit 13, the left lane will close from 1 a.m. until 9 a.m. on Saturday. In addition to this, the Inner Loop ramp will be closed, and drivers can take a posted detour on State Street and Brown Street.
