The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has confirmed the official date for the 2026 UEFA Champions League group-stage draw, which will once again feature 36 clubs under the recently introduced competition format.
For the first time, UEFA will conduct the draw using a computerized system instead of the traditional manual process, aiming to enhance transparency and ensure precise allocation of teams across groups.

The ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, in Monaco, France. The official start times are:

UEFA announced that 29 clubs have already secured direct qualification to the group stage, while seven additional teams will join after completing the playoff round. The 2026 Champions League final is scheduled for May 30, 2026, in Budapest, Hungary.
