GRATEFUL moms have rushed to social media to praise a “life-saving” visor trick that takes the stress out of picking up kids from school.
The “awesome” hack takes just seconds to set up – but can save so much grief.
Chrissy’s hack is simple and effectiveAs more parents in the US drive kids to school than ever, the daily pick-up has created pressure points across the country.
Add in rush hour traffic and dashing to and from work and the school pick-up can often result in serious temper tantrums – and not from the children.
But one mom has revealed a surprisingly simple way to beat the mayhem – and other moms simply “love it”.
In a video posted on social media, driver Chrissy unveils the simple way to ensure staff can spot the tracking number for a child.
“All you have to do is get your car line number ready and then I’m going to show you what to do,” Chrissy explained in the the video, posted to her TikTok account singingsweety05_ugc.
“So first you’re going to flip down your sun visor, open your mirror up, and slide your number in there.”
The trick takes just seconds to set upChrissy then goes on to reveal the hack.
“Just turn it to face whoever is reading the numbers … And there you go – there’s your little car-line pick-up hack.”
Simple and effective
Moms were quick to praise the video for its simplicity – but also its effectiveness.

First on William’s hit list was gossiping at the school gates.
He said: “While having a chat with other parents and guardians at the school gates is not tacky in itself, what does careen into Tacky Town is when parents trash talk the school, other people’s children or the teachers.
“We all have opinions, and healthy discussion is to be encouraged.
“But doing it in such a public environment when one of the trash-talked subjects may well be listening or about to appear is careless and asking for trouble.
“Parents should save any idle gossip for behind closed doors and away from the entrance to the school unless they have a death wish.”
… or be tacky
Etiquette coach William also warned parents shouldn’t shout out the car window when dropping kids off, unless they want to be seen as tacky.
Throughout recent centuries, etiquette guides have always been against shouting in public.
This has not changed of late and is still bad form, revealed William.
He said: “Even worse when someone becomes a foghorn from the front seat, shouting last-minute instructions about pickup times and after-school activities.
“If every parent did this it’d be a fairly useless, deafening cacophony. Why do some parents think it’s okay for them to be the loudest voice in the carpark?
“Get your children to remove their headphones for a moment in the car and talk to them then.”
