Bella Pflieger from Sparks, Nevada, has committed to swim and study at Hendrix College in the fall.
“I am beyond excited to announce my commitment to swim and study health science/pre-PT at Hendrix College! The academic experience at Hendrix is top notch and I had so much fun visiting with the team and Coach J! I am so thrilled to have this amazing opportunity to continue doing what I love! Pflieger graduated from Reno High School this spring. She swam the 200/500 distance double in high school. As a senior, she placed 8th and 7th in the respective events at the 2025 NIAA Class 3A 5A Northern Region Championship. Her best 200 free time comes from the same meet in May 2024.
Pflieger does her year-round swimming with Reno Aquatic Club. She has been an Athlete Representative for Pacific Swimming for 5 years and for the Western Zone for 3 years.
A mid-distance specialist, Pflieger clocked PBs in the 200/800/1500 free this summer. During the 2024-25 short course season, she lowered her lifetime bests in the 50/100/1000 free, 100/200 back, 50/200 breast, 100 breast, and 100 fly.

1650 free – 19:47.98 1000 free – 11:47.68 500 free – 5:39.04 200 free – 2:06.36 100 free – 59.61 50 free – 28.18Pflieger will join her brother in the NCAA – Aidan Pflieger is a senior on the men’s team at D2 powerhouse Nova Southeastern University. Hendrix competes in Division III’s Southern Athletic Association. The women finished 6th of 6 teams at the 2025 conference championships.
