After being part of the historic gold medal-winning team at this year’s Men’s World Championship – the first gold for the US at the event in 92 years – USA Hockey has invited two Chicago Blackhawks to take part in their Olympic Orientation camp.
Frank Nazar and Alex Vlasic are among the 44 players who will take part in the camp, which will take place next week (Aug. 26-27) in Plymouth, Mich.

It’s going to be an incredibly tough roster to make for both Blackhawks. But Nazar leading the team in scoring at the World Championship — and being an excellent penalty killer — could help his stock. Nazar and Vlasic are two of 12 players from the World Championship roster invited to this camp.
