DENVER (KDVR) — Some high schools in Colorado are considered to have some of the best education in the country, based on a new report.
U.S. News & World Report released its annual list of the best high schools across the country. The media company ranked almost 18,000 public high schools out of more than 24,000 high schools nationwide.
Colorado rises in US News & World Report’s best states rankingThe ranking was based on six factors: college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rate. Then, the schools earned an overall percentile out of 100.
