ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Fair weather Tuesday morning will give way to cloudy skies and some showers later today into tonight. A little warmer and more humid this afternoon with temps into the low 80s. While most of the day will be dry, a few raindrops are possible after 3-4PM. Some showers tonight will develop into locally heavier downpours overnight into early Wednesday morning. Where the rain gets going tonight some towns may pick up over an inch of needed rainfall. At this time we are not looking at severe weather or a flood threat but stay tuned for any updates as storms move in.
Overnight rain and downpours will exit first thing Wednesday morning with a cooler breeze developing out of the north and a very similar set-up to what we saw on Sunday as temps fall into the 60s and low 70s during Wednesday afternoon with a few light showers and some misty drizzle at times.
Dry weather with a warming trend develops later this week with some hot weather on Saturday before a cold front arrives with showers and thunder Saturday night into part of Sunday.
