Lydia did not directly address her brothers' on-camera behavior, which included setting a fire at the proposal site, throwing chairs into the water, and rolling down the hills. However, in the video series' fourth clip, she did say she would discuss what she saw during the episode privately with her family members.
"I know you all want me to talk about my brothers and everything they were doing, but1, this story was about my experience leading up to the proposal and Zac protected me from a lot of that so I could enjoy the moment," Lydia wrote.
Warner Bros. Discovery/TLCFans didn't agree with Lydia's assessment of the situation. They believed all the evidence she needed to see was caught by TLC's cameras.
A third viewer penned, "Your brother's behavior was absolutely despicable, and that's not gossip, that is what every single person watching experienced. How dare they treat you and your husband that way. They are obviously super threatened by a man who knows himself and leads with kindness and humility, two things that obviously have no grasp on."
