(BCN) -- The City of Vallejo's Public Works Department is stepping up rodent abatement in the downtown and waterfront areas, officials said.
Working with pest control experts, city crews have reported a noticeable decline in rodent activity in recent weeks, according to a press release issued Friday.
The intensified effort, which includes abatement measures and street sweeping, will continue through the end of the month with ongoing monitoring, officials said.
