The NFL has decided not to fine former Oklahoma star receiver CeeDee Lamb for an unsportsmanlike penalty he committed during last week’s preseason game, according to a league official.
The league official told ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter that the Dallas Cowboys wideout won’t be punished for the penalty and contact he drew during last weekend’s preseason opener against the Los Angeles Rams. Lamb wasn’t even suited up for the preseason game but still got in the middle of things when he was celebrating a play by one of his teammates and accidentally got in the way of an official who was running down the sideline to follow the play.
It was a situation rarely seen in football at any level, but the 4-time Pro Bowler with the Cowboys and consensus All-American at Oklahoma in 2019 managed to pull it off.

He was in the white paint on the sideline that’s reserved for the officials during the course of play.
The Cowboys star wasn’t injured during the mishap and simply laughed off the incident with his teammates on the sidelines.
