Fri, 2021-01-29 20:05 LONDON: Kuwait’s health ministry approved on Friday the emergency use of the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, state news agency (KUNA) reported, citing a health ministry official. Abdullah Al-Bader, assistant undersecretary for Drug and Food Control Affairs, said the ministry had succeeded in obtaining an initial batch of the British-produced vaccine, due to its keenness not to delay the national vaccination program. He added that the first batch is expected to arrive in days.
