Los Angeles police were asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly shot and killed another man in Pacoima on Tuesday, Aug. 5, authorities said.
The victim was standing outside of a recreational vehicle in the 11900 block of Foothill Boulevard, north of the Hansen Dam Recreational Area. Another man got out of a vehicle just past 10:45 a.m., police said, walked up to the victim and shot him.
The suspect ran back to the vehicle and fled.
The victim was taken to a hospital but died. His identity was withheld by police pending notification of his relatives.
