The swim marked a personal best by over three seconds as he entered the meet with a 3:50.55 that he swam at US Olympic Trials last summer to finish 11th. Green did not swim at 2025 US Summer Nationals in June but his time from tonight would have been 4th overall, just behind Ryan Erisman who swam to a NAG record 3:46.01.
