DUBLIN, Ohio (WCMH) -- A grand jury on Wednesday indicted former Ohio State lineman Kirk Barton in connection with a deadly crash in Dublin.
Barton, 40, of Lewis Center, was indicted on one count of aggravated vehicular homicide and two counts of operating a motor vehicle while impaired, according to prosecutors.
On June 21, Barton was allegedly driving the wrong way on U.S. 33 before he turned around and eventually crashed into Ethan Perry, 24, of Columbus, prosecutors said. Watch previous coverage in the player above.

Barton allegedly had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech, and could not answer basic questions, prosecutors said.
Perry died in the crash. Barton sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was later released from a local hospital into police custody.
Barton initially appeared in court on June 23 and was given a $500,000 bond. Barton's formal arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 13.
Barton played for the Buckeyes from 2003 to 2007 and was drafted in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. His professional career spanned only three years for seven different teams, playing in just one NFL regular season game.
