July 24-27, 2025 IU Natatorium, Indianapolis, IN LCM (50m) “2025 ISI Age Group LC Championships” on Meet MobileThe IU Natatorium played host to more swimming history once again, this time in the 13-14 age group, where Zionsville Swim Club would come away with the dominant win in the boys’ 200 free relay, clocking 1:38.91 to surge past the Washington Township Swim Club’s NAG mark of 1:39.56 set back in 2014.
The record was broken 11 years and one day from when Washington Township set the previous standard, in the same pool.
Along with their National Age Group record in the 200 freestyle relay, Zionsville Swim Club’s 13–14 boys continued to dominate at the ISI Age Group Long Course Championships in Indianapolis.
Cooper McQuiston added individual titles in the 200 free (1:57.58, over two seconds faster than his previous best of 1:59.61) and 100 butterfly (58.02, dropping a second and a half off his best of 59.52), and anchored Zionsville’s gold-medal boys’ 400 medley relay with a blistering 52.91 split. Khari Slater swept both butterfly sprints, winning the 50 (25.76, crushing his 26.97 previous top time) and 100 (57.69, just under a second better than his lifetime standard of 58.65), while contributing a 58.16 fly leg to the medley relay.
Everett Heiser continued to impress with wins in the boys’ 50 back (27.39, shaving nearly seven tenths off of his lifetime best), boys’ 50 free (24.22, .7 better than his previous top time), and boys’ 100 back (59.93, his first time dipping under a minute, besting his 1:01.33 from May), along with a 1:01.33 leadoff backstroke split in the boys’ 400 medley relay. Jonathan Baker rounded out the record-setting relay and helped power the team to a commanding lead over runners-up Carmel Swim Club (1:43.67) in the 200 free relay.
Carmel Swim Club topped both the men’s (1510 points) and women’s (2142.5 points) final points standings, finishing well ahead of the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers (789.5 men’s points, 1214.5 women’s points respectively), who finished the meet as runners-up.

Her 100 free was the only competitor under 1:03; more impressively, she was the only one under 59 seconds. Her finals time of 58.33 (.02 slower than her prelims swim of 58.31) marked a new personal best from her previous 58.71.
In the girls’ 11-12 400 free, Allen’s 4:28.56 marked a new personal best and cracked the meet record from 1999, set by Christine Shehorn in 4:31.25. Allen’s final time would top all performers in the 11-12 age group, boys and girls.
Allen would win 11-12 titles in the girls’ 50 fly (29.12), girls’ 200 free (2:06.13), girls’ 200 IM (2:21.01), and girls’ 50 free (27.13) for Carmel.
Other notable performances:
Ashlyn Hayes, 14, of the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers, swam to the top of the podium in the girls’ 100 free (58.36, setting a new best by .12 seconds) and 200 free (2:05.88, .3 slower than her top mark) Mack Allen, 14, of Carmel Swim Club, topped the standings in the 13-14 boys’ 400 IM. Touching in 4:43..28, just under four seconds lower than his best of 4:39.70, but still over six seconds ahead of Carmelteammate Linrui An at 4:49.61.
