News10NBC’s sister station in Albany heard from sources close to the investigation that Frattolin allegedly left his dog without proper food and water at his Montreal apartment before traveling to the United States.
State police said it happened on July 11, when Frattolin and his daughter were leaving Canada for New York. Frattolin is accused of murdering his daughter on July 19. Melina’s body was discovered in a shallow pond in Ticonderoga.
Frattolin is scheduled to return to court on Wednesday.
