Florida State has a new media policy ahead of the 2025 season.
According to Logan B. Robinson of NoleGameday, the program will no longer allow media to view its practices during fall camp. Robinson notes that media will have a “brief viewing opportunity” on Wednesday when the Noles have their first practice of fall camp.
FSU is shutting down media access to practices this season outside of its first practice on Wednesday where there will be a brief viewing opportunity. The Seminoles will hold two scrimmages (August 5th & Aug. 10th) ahead of their season opener against Alabama.
— Logan B. Robinson (@LogansTwitty) July 28, 2025Mike Norvell made a similar decision back in the spring when he decided to limit media access for spring camp as well. The change in policy comes after a 2-10 season for the Noles that saw them reach rock bottom one year after a 13-0 start to the regular season.
Florida State’s numerous question marks will likely remain a mystery up until kickoff against Alabama on Aug. 30. The Noles, like many programs across the country, also didn’t hold a traditional spring game this year. There are more unknowns than usual for Florida State as it prepares to begin a pivotal 2025 season.
FSU is a big underdog to Alabama in Week 1 but the Noles will be hoping to put on a good performance as they search for a bounce-back season after last year’s debacle. FSU won just 1 game against an FBS opponent in 2024 and finished in last place in the ACC.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Aug. 30.
