The Chapel Hill Police Department said in a release Sunday afternoon that it is searching for two missing teenagers and asked the community for assistance. They are believed to have run away.

Chapel Hill residents Sanyah Whitaker, 15, and Crystal Foster, 15, were last seen Saturday morning near Pritchard Avenue Extension. They’re both 5 feet 5 inches, and both weigh 110 pounds.

Anyone with information should call 911 or contact the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Callers who wish to remain anonymous can call Chapel Hill-Carrboro-UNC Crimestoppers at 919-942-7515 or visit the Crimestoppers website.
