Bhubaneswar: Suresh Pattnaik, a resident of Sanakholi village in Asika block of Ganjam district has become a symbol of compassion by donating his organs, saving seven lives.
BJD President and Leader of Opposition in Assembly Naveen Patnaik praised the act of Suresh.
Taking to his ‘X’ handle, Naveen stated, “Suresh Pattnaik has become an inspiration for all. He has saved many precious lives by donating his organs. I express my gratitude and respect to all the family members involved in such a noble act”.
Suresh, who had moved to Bengaluru to support his family, suffered a tragic accident on July 20 and was declared brain-dead the next day. Having previously expressed his wish to donate his organs, his kidneys, liver, lungs, and heart were successfully donated, fulfilling his noble resolve, as per reports.
